Thank You Cards from the Heart - Love Theme

I wish I were more timely and consistent with thank you cards.  It was well past Christmas, and I hadn't sent out notes of gratitude for the bounty of gifts.  Toddler Approved's Kindness Challenge #1 about saying thank you gave me the kickstart I needed.    
Miss E and I made the cards pictured above for our thank you cards.  The heart design is perfect for Valentine's cards or any occasion when you want to show your love.  Your child will be able to help with some or all of the steps below depending on his development.
Directions for Heart Cards

• Collect child's artwork that will end up in the recycle bin. 
• Create hearts by tracing different size hearts onto artwork and cutting them out. 
• Cut out and fold card stock to make a card to fit the envelopes you have on hand.  
• Glue hearts onto card stock.  Give your child creativity to create whatever designs he chooses.
• Allow time to dry.
• Write thank you notes with your child.
