This past weekend Miss E helped me wash the car. Most kids love playing with water, so this a great chore for kids to help a parent with. It was fun, simple, and got the car clean. And, it was long overdue for a good wash!
On the blog, I shared activities for kids who like to touch everything, and some of those are outdoor play ideas. We have been observing our backyard creatures. Check out this handsome fellow found sunbathing in our yard. We created body pictures with chalk and paint on the driveway.

My kids are SO much happier when we get outdoors, and I'm forever grateful for the good weather. They also adore car washing...if only they could reach the top of the car. I'd be all set!

@rachelle | tinkerlab Give them a few years, and you won't even need to help out with the top of the car. ;) My daughter is tall, so it'll be soon for us, I hope.
@Mama Pea Pod I had been paying for car washes before this, and then it dawned on me that she would love to wash the car with me. It's so much more fun washing the care with Miss E as a helper. By myself, not so much fun. ;)
